Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Cup Replay (Chelsea V Leeds). DESCRIPTION: The first Cup Final replay since 1912 and Leeds United and Chelsea go into extra time once again before the trophy’s won. One down at half time, Chelsea fight back courageously to equalise with ten minutes left. A goal from Webb in extra time gives them their first Cup Final success. SHOTLIST: LV Harris (Chelsea) Bremner, toss up. SV Leeds crowd. TV zoom out Leeds kick off. Chelsea repel attack. TV Chelsea attack, Leeds clear. SCU Leeds crowd. TV Charlton takes free kick. BS Bonetti gathers in air. GV crowd. TV Leeds attack - Clarke shoots wide. TV Chelsea attack in Leeds goalmouth. GV Charlton kicks ball from Harvey’s hands, pan Gray clears. GS Jones collides with Bonetti in air. LV Bonetti being treated. GV pan Jones breaks through and scores. GV 2 shots Leeds crowd cheering. TV Chelsea kick off, 2nd half, zoom out pan Chelsea attack, Leeds repel. TV Cooke and Houseman attack, passing. GS Harvey gathers high cross from Houseman, TV pan Charlton runs forward and tackled. GS Harvey gathers low ball from attacker’s feet. TV midfield play. GV Harvey saves & kicks. TV Cooper breaks through on left wing. GS Cooper crosses, ball deflected for corner, LV Leeds take corner. GV McCready heads Charlton back from line. SV crowd. TV Cooke passes to Houseman who crosses, Harvey gathers. GV Osgood heads equaliser, pan to cheering crowd. GS Chelsea players mob Osgood. TV Leeds come away from Chelsea attack. GS Leeds header deflected from Chelsea goal line. GV referee. Pan Cooke to Hutchinson to Baldwin who crosses from left wing - Harvey clears (extra time). TV pan Hutchinson takes long throw in, ball across goalmouth. GS Webb heads goal, TV players run back. GS Chelsea players jubilant. TV Chelsea parade cup. CU Harris, Hollins, Osgood with cup.
