MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Rugby League (Colour). DESCRIPTION: Another great sporting occasion as Wigan meet Castleford in the Rugby League Cup Final. Wigan go into a quick two points lead, but lose their goal-kicking full back Colin Tyrer through injury. Last year’s winners Castleford race to a 7-2 victory in a fast moving hard tackling game which thrills the capacity crowd. SHOTLIST: LV Wigan kick off left to right. TV Castleford attack - midfield play & incident. GV crowd. GV penalty kick to Wigan, taken by Tyrer. SV pan Castleford attacking - scrimmage for ball & two men down. GTV play with Castleford attacking. CU pan ditto, Wigan attack. SV pan Castleford passing movement melee. GV play before Castleford penalty. CU No 10 with ball Redfearn. CU crowd cheering, pan Wigan players runs with ball - tackled. SV pan Wigan attack player tackled. CU another Wigan player tackled. CU girl in crowd. SV zoom back Castleford penalty by Redfearn (7-2). CU scoreboard. SV tackle in midfield. GV mass crowds cheering. Angle shot Castleford Captain Hardisty receives cup from Earl of Derby. CU cup held by captain. CU Castleford players. GV stadium. CU captain chaired with cup.
