Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Boxing. DESCRIPTION: A brave ‘come-back’ bid by Nino Benvenuti for his world middle weight title. But the ex-champion turned film star found it really tough going. SHOTLIST: LV fight in progress, Nino Benvenuti is taking a hammering from Carlos Monzon. SV as they break from the clinch. GV crowd. SV Benvenuti smashed on the floor nearly goes out of ring, gets up again, stands, zoom back, they stop fight again when bell goes. SV Benvenuti taking beating, he goes down but gets up straight away, but seconds throw the towel in, he rushes over and kicks the towel out of the ring, fights with seconds - pan to smiling dancing opponent. SV pan winner walks off with police.
