MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: League Cup Final - Chelsea V Stoke. DESCRIPTION: Stoke City win the League Cup Final against Chelsea at Wembley. 100,000 watch the game. This is the first major victory for Stoke in 108 years. SHOTLIST: SV Chelsea on left - Stoke on right walking onto field. CU referee places ball on centre spot. GV Chelsea kick off (dark shirts) kicking from right to left. LV mass crowd. GV Stoke attack ball goes out to left wing. SV pan from behind goal, Stoke outside left centres ball kicked from centre over side line for throw into Stoke. GV throw in by Stoke. Ball goes to Bonetti in front of goal who clears it. SV ball goes to Terry Conroy who heads ball into net for goal, pan to players congratulating him. GV crowds cheering. GV Chelsea attacking, ball passes to No 4 John Hollins who kicks at goal but ball goes wide. SV Peter Bonetti in goalmouth. SV pan No 8 Stoke Jimmy Greenhoff running with ball being chased by Chelsea’s No 4. SV as they run towards goal Hollins brings Greenhoff down. GV Chelsea attack on left wing. Ball is centred by Ron Harris to Peter Osgood. GV mass crowd. GV Osgood scores equalising goal, pan to players congratulating him. GV crowds cheering. HALF TIME 1 - 1 SV play behind goalmouth Gordon Banks makes a couple of good saves. SV Chelsea No 7 Charlie Cooke passes out to Hollins at 145’. Hollins passes to left wing but Stoke takes possession and clears up field. SV pan Terry Conway No 7 racing up field with ball. SV scramble in front of game. Ball goes to No 11 George Eastham who scores, zoom into players congratulating him. SV pan Chelsea attack No 7 passes to No 10 who passes back to No 7 who passes to team mate who is tackled by Stoke, ball goes over for corner. GV pan corner kick taken, ball headed over crossbar by Chelsea player. GV mass crowds. SV pan Chelsea attack again No 7 to No 10. SV Gordon Banks makes save and clears. SV scoreboard Stoke 2 - Chelsea 1. GV end of game teams congratulate each other. LV Stoke City captain Peter Dobing, holding cup aloft. GV mass crowds cheering. SV captain being cheered, holding cup, pan to press. GV captain being cheered holding cup pan to press. GV crowds cheering winners. SV Stoke holding up cup.
