- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Spirit of London. DESCRIPTION: Mrs Beatrice Marriott, Pearly Queen, was flown especially to Italy to name and launch the ‘Spirit of London’. Unfortunately, due to technical trouble on the ramp, the ship did not actually get into the water. SHOTLIST: GV angle up shipyard with ship on slipway. CU name Spirit of London. GV ship on slipway. MS pan sign Spirit of London pan down 4 state trumpeters and a London policeman and a liveried caller from Lloyds. MS crowd. MS trumpeters blow fanfare as Mrs Beatrice Marriott, Pearly Queen arrives.
