MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Polish Fire Brigade. DESCRIPTION: Polish Fire Brigade at Krakow in Poland gave a polished display of fire fighting and the modern methods used. SHOTLIST: SV firemen sliding down poles as alarm sounds. GV fire engines race towards mock fire. LV firemen at bottom of escape chute pan up to top of chute. SV fire fighting truck, 2 men in protective gear on back. CU firemen reeling out hose. SV pan firemen spraying fire. SCU automatic tele-guided fire extinguisher trundling towards fire. GV large fire burning and debris being thrown high into air, pan down to show tele-guided vehicle at work. SBV ditto spraying fire. SVC 2 helicopters flying to demonstration area. SV pan fire fighting trailer is unloaded from helicopter & hitched to back of waiting truck. SCU pan as truck drives past with six men aboard, 2 in protective clothing spraying fire with hose. LV firemen fighting blazing fire in foreground. SV men in protective gear fighting fire from truck. SV four firemen spraying fire, up to waists in foam. SV 2 men in protective suits spraying foam into fire.
