- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Chinese Ambassador. DESCRIPTION: The first Chinese Ambassador to visit this country, Sung Chih Kuang - presented his credentials to Her Majesty. This diplomatic move is looked upon as a raising of the Bamboo Curtain and closer relations with the Chinese People’s Republic. SHOTLIST: GV Chinese Embassy Portland Place, London W1. CU sign in Chinese and also in English Embassy. SV Marshal’s coach arriving outside Chinese Embassy. CU emblem and number 31 over doorway.
