MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Jersey Battle of the Flowers - in Colour. DESCRIPTION: The Flower Festival was first held in 1902, and except for a few breaks, has been going strong ever since. Disc Jockey Jimmy Saville was the guest of honour. Altogether in the mile procession there were 40 exhibits including 8, 35’ long floats.
