GV driver of No 9 Kevin Wright, putting on helmet. LV No 6 (2nd place) being prepared, cross channel hovercraft in background. SV driver of another craft gets into cockpit. GV controls. SLV pan No 8 away down beach and into sea. GV boy watching through glasses with father. SLV pan No 8. GV pan No 3 away down beach into sea. SV Lady Elworthy (in centre) watching. SV pan No 6 away. Air view No 6. SV spectators. SLV pan No 6 at speed. LV flag goes down, pan to No 9 as it starts away. GV woman watching through binoculars. LV towards and pan No 8 coming in to finish in 3rd place.
