- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Cup Final. DESCRIPTION: Folomain: The weather was unkind for the Cup Final, but the big crowd sang in the rain and gave a hearty cheer for the Duke of Gloucester, who represented the King. Sub Fol: British Movietone News is privileged to present the official sound film of the great football duel in which West Bromwich Albion (in striped shirts) and Birmingham (dark shirts) dispute ownership of the FA Cup. Sub.1. Kick off, Birmingham: Blue shirts with white collars, West Bromwich Albion: Blue and white striped shirts. Sub.2. WG Richardson opens score for West Bromwich. Sub.2a. (Same in slow motion). Sub.3. Half-time. West Bromwich 1. Birmingham 0. Sub.4. Bradford levels account for Birmingham with a beautiful shot. Sub.4a. (same in slow motion). Sub.5. Albion’s reply was to run through from the kick off. WG Richardson netting decisive goal. Sub.5a. (same in slow motion). Sub.6. Final score West Bromwich Albion 2. Birmingham 1. Sub.7.
