MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Fire Brigade Demonstration. DESCRIPTION: At the Guildhall, the only competition for private Fire Brigades. SHOTLIST: GV church pan down to Harlow fire display grounds with two teams on tarmac. SV target is hosed down. SCU man turning on water. SV hoses coiled up. SV team 6 van den Berghs & Jurgens, last year’s holders of shield, winners run up to hoses & and they run off uncoiling them. SV members of team turning on water. LV two members of team with hoses spraying targets. SV judges. SV 2 members of team. SV leader of team rush up, pick up two hoses & they rush back with them. SV man screws in hose and turns on water. CU man turning on water. GV display area with hoses spraying. SV judges. SV 2 members rush forward, pick up hoses and run back. SCU man screwing hose in, another man turns water on. SV targets sprayed down, judge rushes up. SV team 6 van den Berghs & Jurgens winners, receiving shield. SV crowds. SV holding shield in frame. SV judges clapping. SV team walk away with shield in frame.
