DESCRIPTION: The third International Birdman Rally at Selsey, won by John Bond, of Westbourne, Emsworth, whilst still making a splash, he was 23 yards short of the prize. SHOTLIST: SV people preparing gliders. SV men under gliders adjusting it. SV sign The Ideal Gas. SV people preparing gliders. SV man strapping himself into glider. SV man preparing, runs towards camera. SV man walks up to glider, gets under it and lifts it up. SV man holding it up. SV crowds on beach at Selsey. SV two men dressed up as angels. SV crowd zoom out LV SV 2 angels jump off top, pan into water. SV ditto being brought onto top of flight path. SV people in boats. SV glider off top, man lets go and falls into water. SV Ideal Gas goes off, the pilot lets go and falls in water. SLV another glider ready for take off, he glides part of the way then into water.
