MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: England V Australia - Rugby. DESCRIPTION: The Rugby Football League Test match between Great Britain and Australia at Wembley. Great Britain win 21 - 12. SHOTLIST: GV Australia kick off in dark shirts and shorts (green/gold) from right to left. SV England taken possession & attacks up field. GTV England attacks - good passing movement, No 11 P Lowe receives ball, he makes a dash for the line, and over for a try. GV crowds clapping. GV Australia attacking No 2 R Goodwin runs with ball, he is tackled & brought down, but manages to pass to No 11 McCarthy who dives over line, try disallowed because of a knock on. MS types in crowd. GV No 1 Langlands scores a penalty kick for Australia. GV crowd & 2 Australians with banner at half time. Half time score England 4 - Australia 2 after drop goal by No 7 S Nash. SV England attack, putting on pressure. GV Clark No 9 goes over line for a try. SV T Clawson No 8 converts. SV scoreboard GB 9 - Australia 2. SV tackling in midfield with GB making ground. CU passing movement by GB. GV GB attack, ball is passed to No 10 Lockwood, he goes over line and touches down, he is then brought down by No 13 P Sait. SV No 10 Lockwood laying on ground. GV Clawson converts. GV crowd clapping. Score GB 14 - Australia 2. GV Australia attacking No 4 Starling, passes to No 5 Branigham who goes over line. STV pan No 1 Longlands converts. SV score GB 14 - Australia 7. GV Australia attacking again as No 3 Fulton goes over line for a try. GV Longlands converting, score GB 14 - Australia 12. GV No 8 Clawson, scoring penalty kick, GB 16 - Australia 12. GV GB attacking, Lowe No 11 receives ball and clashes through and over line. SV scoreboard GB 19 - Australia 12. GV No 8 Clawson converts. SV scoreboard final score GB 21 - Australia 12. GV players shake hands.
