- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Submarine Becomes Aircraft Carrier. DESCRIPTION: Aeroplane is catapulted from converted M2 turret of submarine riding surface of the Solent. SHOTLIST: Periscope of the submarine, showing above the water. The submarine appear above the water. Shot of the interior. A naval officer talks to the pilots of the plane. The sea-plane with wings folded is brought out from the tower of the sub. The wings are opened out. The plane is catapulted off and flies into air. She lands on the water beside the submarine and is later taken aboard again. Shot from above the plane.
