MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: World Show Jumping Champs Colour. DESCRIPTION: The new World Champion is Hartwig Steenken from Germany who rode to victory on Simona. Narrowly beaten into second place, after a jump off, was Ireland’s Eddie Macken on his young horse Pele. SHOTLIST: GV guards band in arena leading on 4 champion riders. SV 4 champion riders on their horses from left to right: Hugo Simon, Eddie Macken, Hartwig Steenken and Frank Chapot. SV 4 riders zoom out to GV as they enter arena. LV crowds watching. SV pan Simon (Austria) on Lavendel (own horse) finishing clear round. LV Frank Chapot (USA) on Main Spring (own horse) jumping water jump, clears last fence (clear round). GV zoom in Eddie Macken (Ireland) on Pele (own horse) jumping water jump & last fence (clear round). SV pan Hartwig Steenken (Germany) on Simona 17 years old, clears water jump & last fence (clear).
