SV Princess Anne at table. SV Hayley Mills introduces Best Supporting Actor, GV as Sir John Gielgud walks up onto stage, zoom as he receives his award for ‘Murder on the Orient Express’. SV Princess Anne and Gielgud receiving award. GV guests. LV as Gielgud walks off but Hayley runs & brings him back to mike to introduce Ingrid Bergman (she doesn’t appear). SV Princess Anne. LV Peter Sellers walks out on stage & shakes hands with David Niven, he walks to mike to introduce Best Supporting Actress Joanne Woodward for ‘Summer Wishes, Winter Dreams’. GV guest. SV Twiggy introducing Best Actor Jack Nicholson for ‘Last Detail’ & ‘Chinatown’. CU Nicholson on film saying ‘thank you’. SV Lee Marvin reading Best Film Direction. SV pan as Louis Malle walks up to receive his award, he shakes hands with Lee. GV as Malle walks up to Princess Anne, he receives award for ‘Lancombe Lucien’. SV Princess Anne sitting down again, extract from ‘Lancombe Lucien’. SV Beryl Reid reading out Best TV Actor. GV zoom in at Peter Barkworth walks up to receive award for ‘Crown Matrimonial’. SV ditto, he kisses Beryl Reid, as they walk off. SV Princess Anne. LV John le Mesurier introducing Best TV Actress Lee Remick for ‘Jennie’. GV zoom in as Lee Remick walks up to receive award. GV as Stanley Baxter walks up to receive award for Best Light Entertainment Performance on TV for ‘Stanley Baxter Moving Picture Show’. SCU Princess Anne and Stanley Baxter talking.
