- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Motor-Cycle Sidecar Scramble. DESCRIPTION: It was a Continental line-up for the Motocross meeting at Wakes Colne in Essex. The course was a tough one but the Dutch Team conquered it to win the day, with the British team second. SHOTLIST: SV competitors starting up bikes at start. CU hand on throttle. SV men revving bikes. SV front wheels of bikes in line edging forward, they ride off. CU bike coming toward and past camera pan to BV. FV zoom back two competitors racing round bend up straight bike No 7 in lead. Fritz Gerber past Kurt Kaufmann. FV bike over hill No 16. SV bike racing along straight. SV bikes over hill. SV pan bike No 14 (past Mike Meredith), John Turner round bend and down straight montage of quick cuts - 3 CUs of riders past on bikes.
