Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Royal Visit to Colliery. DESCRIPTION: HM The Queen, accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh - visited the coalface of Silverwood Colliery. Her Majesty unveiled a plaque to commemorate the visit and the Royal Party travelled by "paddy wagon" to the Swallow Wood Seam. SHOTLIST: SV winches to lift shaft at pit head.
