- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Day of Remembrance. DESCRIPTION: Movietone pays homage to the head of two World Wars. This year marks the thirtieth Anniversary of the end of the Second World War. Her Majesty the Queen leads the nation’s Act of Remembrance by laying a wreath of poppies at the Cenotaph, that simple Tomb to the DeadFar away in distant Thailand lies the graves of those who perished in the building of the notorious Burma-Thailand Railway. By contrast, today, the Cemetery is a haven of peace and beauty, lovingly tended by the War Graves Commission"At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them".
