MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Pompeii Ad 79 Exhibition. DESCRIPTION: An intriguing insight into the Ancient Roman lifestyle can be seen at the ‘Pompeii AD 79 Exhibition’ at the Royal Academy. HRH the Princess Anne opened the Exhibition and then was shown the treasures of Pompeii, that for so long lay buried under the ash and lava from Mount Vesuvius.
