- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Trout Farm. DESCRIPTION: The practice of breeding fish for sport and the table is growing. At Sunbury-on-Thames the Local Water Board have set up a Trout Farm and keep their Reservoirs stocked for Anglers, thus turning their necessary facilities into profitable concern. SHOTLIST: Various men and boys fishing off harbour wall at Newhaven. MS trout jumping about at hatchery. MS man places electric probe into tray of small fish. CU reading. MS man takes out dead fish with plastic tube. CU removal of dead fish. CU fish in tube. MCU fish in tray. MS man walks over to trough (showing trout in 2nd stage of growth). MS fish caught at end of trough. MS fish transferred to bucket. MS trout transferred to tank (for 3rd stage of growth). MS trout in tank. MS trout removed from tank into bucket ready for reservoir. MS man fishing pan to man empties fish into reservoir. MS man starts to cast line. MCU fisherman casts line. MS water. MS angler. CU man pulling on line. Man catches fish into net. MS 6 fish laid out beside net.
