Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Battle of Flowers. DESCRIPTION: Once an actual battle, where the participants pelted each other with flowers, today the Battle of Flowers means a Carnival Parade through the streets of St Helier. Millions of individual blooms are used to decorate the floats and all are locally grown. This Year’s Miss Battle was accompanied by singing star Sacha Distel. SHOTLIST: MS mermaid float past.
