- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Human Chess. DESCRIPTION: In Marostica, Italy, a colourful tradition has passed down the centuries, a game of Chess on a grand scale where Humans are the pieces on the board. The town square is marked out as a Chess Board and a Herald calls the moves being made by the protagonists on a smaller board, the human pieces then move accordingly. SHOTLIST: MS man in medieval costume holding sword tilt up to medieval soldiers. MS soldiers. Various of people in costumes walking in. MS man reading proclamation.
