- Summary
- COI synopsis: The Royal Mint is a London foundry which manufactures coins for countries all over the world. ‘Carrousel Britanico’ shows how the original models are made - many times the size of the actual coin - exactly following an approved design. The Royal Mint stamps out something like eight million coins every year, each one of which must be perfect before it can be issued. A visitor from Venezuela, Fernando Coronil, is interested in seeing those coins which are bound for Latin-American countries.
