- COI synopsis: ‘Carrousel Britanico’ goes to Bristol, a city in the south west of England which has a department of Latin American studies at its university. To this university came a distinguished guest from Latin America - a former president of Colombia, Dr Alberto Llevas. He also visited the universities of Oxford and Cambridge and spoke with the academic authorities and teachers specialising in Latin American studies. Dr Llevas saw that there is a new emphasis on Latin American studies in Britain.
