- Summary
- COI synopsis: The youth of Britain are forthright and enterprising. How do they find their pleasures and their vocations and express thier individuality? Bernard Braden, Canadian star of television and radio, talks to teenagers and young people from all parts of Britain, in places as different as a ‘skiffle’ cellar in Soho and a chemical company, and uncovers something of the mystery of the coffee bar - a popular haunt of young Britons today. A group of young drama students are asked if it is the glamour of the profession, the bright lights and music, which influence their choice of job. In contrast he visits an English boarding school and sees the "old school tie" in action - the tradition of high education and conformity. Braden discusses with the young people he meets what influences their choice of job, and where their main interests lie.
