Summary

COI synopsis: Bubbles nowadays are much more than pretty, short-lived diversions. They may also be the key to some of the most startling new techniques in science; and - in the wrong place - they may also spell disaster. A simple air bubble in the fuel line is one of the commonest causes of bringing diesel lorries to a dead stop. Now an ingenious attachment flushes out the hidden air pockets in the fuel, and makes sure it’s the bubbles that are stopped dead in their tracks.
