Summary
COI synopsis: The world’s cars are burning up fossil fuels at a suicidal rate. Electric cars would be much more economical. However, electric cars need numerous heavy batteries which demand regular recharging and limit the car’s range. A British engineer has come up with a possible solution: a car driven by batteries which are charged whilst on the move using a minute petrol engine.
