- Summary
- COI synopsis: Every schoolboy realises that air is essential for us to live. This programme explores less well known, but equally important uses of air in our constant battle for survival. Pedigree race horces, potential winners of thousands of pounds for their owners, deserve and get the very best medical treatment. But to a small farmer, the well-being of his young and ailing Shire horse is equally important. With this in mind, a British inventor has perfected a system of establishing an operating theatre in the field; with an operating table that’s inflatable. Its cost is minimal and now a young workhorse can escape the knacker’s yard.
