Summary
COI synopsis: As agriculture becomes a growth industry, producing food for our increasing populations, new techniques must be learned for handling the transport and sale of food in bulk. Public health requires clean, safe food; and this means trained people to inspect the food, to understand the danger signals and to act as guards so that we can all rely upon the food which they pass as safe for human consumption. London Line shows African students mastering these techniques in Britain, which they will then put into practice when they return home to undertake the responsibilities of a highly-skilled, rewarding and essential job.
