Summary
COI synopsis: Gold is still the world’s most marketable commodity. More than half the world supply of mined gold comes to London, a good deal of it to the artist craftsmen who are carrying on a tradition that has made London the centre of the gold and jewellery trade for over six hundred years. Thirteen years ago London also attracted Australian designer Stuart Devlin, the man who has been called the world’s greatest living goldsmith. London Line talks to him and watches him at work.
