- Summary
- COI synopsis: The thousands of visitors to London who watch the pageantry of the Lord Mayor’s show every year would probably be as surprised as Michele Brown was to learn that the magnificent shire horses who pull the Lord Mayor’s coach earn a humbler living every day delivering beer in the heart of the City of London. Michele visits their stables and meets the grooms and lacksmiths who live and work with these horses in all the hustle and bustle of a modern city.
