NoS synopsis: ‘The only inn owned by the King -' intertitle with a cartoon of a pub by a road. ‘The quaint little village of DERSINGHAM is unique in possessing the only licensed House owned by THE KING in his capacity as a private landlord.' Long panning shot of a large inn building from back to front. A man and two women stand in front of a doorway below a sign which reads "HOTEL" with the Prince of Wale’s crest. A bicycle leans against the wall and two small girls watch the adults. The adults walk away to the right hand side. ‘The late King Edward took an almost paternal interest in the place and frequently used to sit in this chair and chat with the customers’. A bearded man in a coat and hat sits on a chair in the inn garden. The gentleman from the previous scene in a suit and hat brings the other man a pint on a tray. The seated man drinks as the other watches. Close up of the man standing by the chair and drinking. - Keywords
