Summary
NoS Summary - Various shots of fairground rides at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
British Pathe synopsis: "Where, from the top of the Tower, we watch the restless folk below..." High angle shot of Blackpool - probably shot from Blackpool Tower. "And join the crowds on the pleasure beach." Various shots of the Pleasure Beach. "Movement is what Eve wants here...(and gets)." Shots of funfair rides including Big Dipper, the Whip and Watersplash. "Lifted up and rushed down!" "Whirled on the ‘Whip’/" "With the kiddies". A children’s ride is featured - a sort of mini Big Wheel. Children sit in little cages which revolve. M/S of fairground worker helping children down after the ride has finished. "And such funny things happen at Blackpool! (according to our Camrea!)" Camera reversal is used to show the watersplash car travelling backwards up the track.
