British Pathe synopsis: Miss Violet Piercey the long-distance record holding runner is featured. Miss Piercey ran 26 1/2 miles non stop from London to Windsor in record time. Miss Piercey runs in a white jersey and black shorts. Three cyclists accompany her and she is followed by a car. M/S of Miss Piercey running - moving shot. We then see Miss Piercey in training - skipping at an athletics track. C/U of her feet as she skips. Her running shoes are more like tap dancing shoes. Miss Piercey runs around an athletics track.
