- British Pathe Synosis - The South African Olympic swimmers Misses Russell, Bengleberg, Rennie and Vandergoes pose for the camera with their trainer Mrs Finlayson. They stand on the pool side in their swimming costumes. M/S of the women as they dive into the pool. L/S of the girls swimming towards the camera. "The moment these Empire Eves see a swimming bath they dive right in to business - " reads an intertitle. L/S of the women diving off a high board into the pool. Top shot of one of the girls swimming front crawl. Another girl dives in and swims underneath the camera. "Real water-sprites." Another of the women swims past the camera. Various shots of the girls swimming. "Grace - and precision, in "slow-time" reads an intertitle, followed by slow motion footage one of the girls diving into the pool.
