- Summary
- NoS Summary - Santos Casani and Jose Lennard new steps for foxtrot and waltz.
British Pathe synopsis: "Glide smoothly" is the watchword for 1929 dancers - especially in the fox-trot" Santos Casani and Jose Lennard dance in front of a curtained backdrop in L/S. We see the "slow" fox-trot varied with a "quick-time" left turn. Here is the turn (followed by the Promenade Chasse) "slowed". C/U of the legs of the dancers. Camera moves as the dancers move. We then see the steps danced slowly. (It seems to be the dancers slowing down their pace rather than a slow motion sequence.) We then see the dancers perform again in L/S. - Keywords
