Summary
NoS Summary - a woman in her boudoir with the latest novelties including cigarette dispenser.
British Pathe synopsis: "The latest gazinkas, oojahs and what-you-may-call-its for Eve, straight from Paris." M/S of woman sitting provocatively on a bed in a boudoir setting. We can see the woman’s stocking tops and she wears a fur trimmed dressing gown over a slip. She stretches out her arms as if yawning - perhaps to display the dressing gown. She leans across the bed and picks up "The Lazy Daisy paper holder." She unfolds the metal contraption and places a newspaper in the holder. She can then lie out on the bed. Shot from down by the woman’s ankles - a birds eye view of her stocking tops! A friend comes into the room and two girls sit on the bed together. The friend holds up a toy animal. "Everything here is ultra smart" says the caption. As the first woman holds up the crazily patterned toy dog and plays with its ears. The newcomer offers her friend a cigarette - she declines. C/U of woman taking a cigarette out of the box and patting it on the side of the box. Her friend has a special cigarette dispenser which we see in C/U. It is a very nice Art Deco style contraption. The girls put their cigarettes in holders. Incomplete.
