Summary
NoS synopsis: "Fit subjects for an artist’s pencil - dainty young students from the Paris Opera - " M/S of a ballerina posing for the artist. M/S of the artist sitting with the ballerina, he draws something. Another ballerina poses - this is presumably his studio, or perhaps his home. C/U of his drawing. The ballerina dances on points. The artist shows the dancer his sketch. "And when the weather’s fine, what could be more inviting than an outdoor study - ?" M/S of the ballerina posing on a balcony. She dances and Gustave sketches. Various shots of the two in different parts of the garden. C/U of the artist sketching. He wears a suit, bow tie and hat. He has a large moustache! C/U of the ballerina’s legs as she dances. "Youth and grace - an inspiration to any painter - " More shots of the girls dancing. One of the dancers wears a chiffon skirt which becomes rather see-through outside in the garden. The dancer bends over backwards. "Ah me! It’s a great life - " M/S of three girls dancing in the garden with garlands of flowers. They strike various graceful poses.
