- Summary
- NoS synopsis: "Not every girl wants to fly high in the sky - or speed round Brooklands - some prefer the rush of the wind from the sea." L/S of yachts out at sea with a beach in the foreground - Isle of Wight. M/S of three girls on a boat tending to the sail. "In this kind of sail, Eve knows almost as much about the ropes as she does about the latest in ribbon." The sail is hoisted. Various shots of the girls sailing their boats. Another boat is seen, two women and a man sail this one. "Ready for the Redwings..." reads an intertitle. M/S of a man dressed in a suit and sailors hat letting off a small cannon signal. Presumably he is starting a race. L/S of the yachts moving along. The Officer type looks through a telescope. "Another ‘portant spectator" reads an intertitle, followed by a shot of a young girl looking through binoculars. M/Ss of various yachts tacking and moving past the camera. "There’s nothing permanent about these waves -" More shots of the yachts.
