- Summary
- NoS Summary - A woman high wire artist dancing high above the ground on a tightrope.
NoS synopsis: "Meet a lady friend of ours who’s been "walking the wire" from childhood -" M/S of a woman high wire artist walking the wire holding a parasol. She sits on the wire and there is a dissolve into a C/U. She wears a fancy frock with a fur trim and a sparkly head dress. C/U of the woman with the parasol behind her. She rests her chin on her hand and looks coy. "This young lady can so more than "walk" - she can "step out" in many ways -" She then stands up and does a strange half running movement across the wire. She then spins around and around, still on the wire. "In slow-motion, every graceful action is seen -" We see her perform in slow motion. She bounces on the wire and does high kicks. "All a question of delicate equilibrium - you just mustn’t fall and break your contract - " She dances across the tightrope, looks like she might fall but doesn’t. - Researcher Comments
