British Pathe synopsis: "And a lot of distinguished "Ins" when Miss Gladys Cooper won the toss against the equally famous Author J.B. Priestley, in a deadly cricket battle - " M/S of Priestley tossing a coin to decide who goes first. "A team of Graces (not W.G.s) including Isla Bevan, Joyce Barbour, Marie Ney, Elizabeth Pollock and Cathleen Nesbitt - " L/S of the aforementioned women walking hand in hand towards the camera holding cricket bats. They play cricket with a very large soft ball. The men’s team wear white shirts and white trousers and large top hats. The first female player gets out by hitting the ball which goes behind her and knocks the stumps off. Various shots of the game. "The Stumper is John Drinkwater." More shots of the game - a very glamorous woman is stumped. "More leg-pulling than leg pulls!" The men take their turn to bat. - Keywords
