- NoS Summary - Cute rabbits are farmed for their fur.
British Pathe synopsis: "Rabbit pelts, nowadays in great demand, necessitate farms where rabbits are specially bred for their skins." M/S of a farmhouse with a couple sitting outside enjoying the weather. Another man stands on the porch smoking a pipe. Dissolve into shot of lots of white rabbits nibbling on leaves. "Bunny" is looked after very well, for a healthy rabbit produces a valuable pelt. Oak leaves form part of his diet." M/S of the bunnies. They are eating then suddenly prick up their ears. "A modern Pied Piper." A man holding a branch walks away from the bunnies and they follow him. "Socially, "Bunny" is rather proud. His daily visitors are welcome, but they must keep their places." Two geese and a chicken walk beside the rabbit run. "Oak leaves are not their only food. Regular meals are provided..." M/S of food being poured into a feeding trough. M/S of the rabbits having their lunch. "Here are some fine specimens of Angora, Havana and Chinchilla." C/U of a white fluffy bunny. C/U of a darker haired bunny. C/U of two funny looking bunnies. "Their valuable pelts must be dried and selected very carefully, ready for the fur market." C/U of skins drying out. M/S of man sitting at a table in the open air checking the pelts.
