Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Birmingham City’s Fire Brigade. DESCRIPTION: And this is what happens if an urgent call reaches Birmingham City’s efficient Brigade. SHOTLIST: Man breaks the glass in box. Fireman at station switchboard. Man waits at the alarm post. Firemen dash along a balcony. Slide down pole. Shots taken from the top of the pole showing the descent. They don gear alongside the fire engine. Wheel of fire engine passing over and close to camera. The engines leave the station and on the roads to the fire. Elevated shot of fire engine. Fireman runs up ladder with hose. Close shot playing hose on the fire.
