Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Baby Car Sets Up New Speed Record. DESCRIPTION: George Eyston, driving a MG Midget, roars along Pendine Sands at 118.38 mph. SHOTLIST: Shot of mechanic bringing out car. George Eyston speaks with a man and explains about some fire proof overalls and socks he is wearing. A man holds a lighting blow lamp against them to test them. George Eyston is then wheeled onto the sands in his MG. Various shots of the car speeding over the sands. George Eyston climbs out of his car. He is cheered and chaired.
