Summary
BFI synopsis: We catch a glipmse of the site at Bala, where the battle to control the flood waters of the Dee and the Tryweryn has been continued throughout the summer and autumn of 1954 under appalling weather conditions. More than once the waters have reached danger level and, for a time, the structure of the new Dee bridge was under water. In spite of difficulties the flood channels being constructed to end the flood dangers, were beginning to take shape.
