Summary
NFA synopsis: December 1953. Cwmfelin production of slag fertilizer for farms. Loading it onto a ship - the ‘Mary Stewart’ of Greenock (an 1876 2-masted schooner) - at the North Dock of Swansea. Setting sail, with good shots of handling the ship. Scenes of unloading at Bideford, and the farmers taking the load away in lorries from the quay to the farm. Finally, a fertilizer spreader is pulled behind a tractor.
