- COI synopsis: When B.B.C.'s popular children’s programme "Blue Peter" appealed to their seven and a half million viewers for 140,000 parcels of old clothes - to buy a hospital truck for Afrian children war victims - they reckoned without the zeal of their young helpers. Over one and a half million parcels were sent in - enough for ten hospital trucks.
