Summary
Pathe synopsis: Probably the most colourful and spectacular holiday festival in Europe is celebrated every year in Jersey, largest of the Channel Isles - the "Battle of Flowers". First organised in 1902 to celebrate the coronation of King Edwrd VII, the event take the form of a parade of magnificent floral tableaux followed by the "battle" in which holidaymakers join in the fun.
