Summary
Documentary News Letter synopsis: It is a simple description of Vatican City emphasising the Pope and peace... The high spots are some nicely scaled interiors of St. Peter’s, a good sequence of the Pope, the genial Black Pope and, over the Vatican treasure, a line of commentary which begins with the phrase - "Europe’s might men of art".
Researcher Comments
Released in the USA in February 1940. As a token of gratitude for the Vatican’s cooperation, the March of Time donated $5000 for distribution amongst the Pope’s favourite charities. This story was included in Vol.6 No.7 of the US edition.
